Rothenburg ob der Tauber

After resting up from our Berlin trip on Friday...we headed out for another adventure on Saturday. Rothenburg is the perfect German town. It is a medieval town that remains mostly in tact due to a deal that was made during WWII by an American general and a Nazi general.

A first glance

Doesn't it look like we took a step back in time?

Maree and Christian with the clock tower behind them

A Rothenburg specialty...the schneeball.

So of course Maree needed to try one. She said it wasn't bad at all. (I have to admitt that I have never really liked them though.)

Two handsome tourists

Is this beginning to be a pattern on our excursions? Poor Christian just needs his own bed!
All smiles because this was a great day trip!

Oh I just love Rothenburg!!! But ya know I think those Schneeballs look much better than they actually taste. So glad y'all had such a great time. Wow you and Jason were awesome tour guides for Maree and Christian. I know they must have had a ball with y'all.
